WP 4.3 Project Technical Report
Updated On: 15/03/2011
Executive summary
The document reports the results obtained, in the Ensemble project, at the end of the platform implementation phase of the project and to do that it reports:
a)in chapter 3 the whole architecture of the implemented system,
b)in chapters 4 and 5 the two web platforms for the distribution of project contents,
c)in chapters 6, 7 and 8 the technical characteristics of the instruments for sending SMS and MMS and to distribute MP3 and video material, both at central and users (students and parents) side.
In chapter 9 the results of some tests implemented before the official pilot phase starting are reported in order to identify criticisms for the pilot phase itself.
Finally the last chapter reports some conclusions (from the technical point of view) deriving from the implementation activities.
The technical activities were mainly affected (and delayed) by the integration of SMS/MMS sending platform with the selected TLC provider.
However the technical implementation of the platform was finally successful and all planned technical resources were put in place and allowed a fruitful piloting phase.
